Counter Proxy hatch into Skytoss (French VOD) (PvZ Economic)
Description
In this replay(and Video), I show you how to scout and how to counter a proxy hatch. I do it with a skytoss follow up but you can react with what you want.
General tips are:
- Scout after the first pylon
- Check if there is an expand
- No expand and pool first but not fast (around 1min) means proxy hatch Expand and pool around 1,15 means standard hatch first
- No expand and pool almost finished when you scout means 12 pool
- No expand and pool at the middle of the build itme means 14/14 (if their is gas)
When you know that there is a proxy hatch: Scout your third expand and react with chrono zealot, pylon + 2 shield batteries close to the hatch. He should never finish his 3 spines. When you hold it: Expand and go to a macro game. You are fare ahead (you only neeed to fear about a random bbust, it can happen sometimes)

Hi, love the build and videos, my question is what if he feints the proxy hatch, blocks your scouting and while you're preparing to defend with the build you set, he macro's up instead and ends up with a macro lead?
My guess as to your answer is that I should be scouting for an expansion at his base and if he doesn't expand before he has lings out then I should not expect any macro?
