Description

This might be cheese or might not be. I personally think it helps a lot! Not just for winning games but also for learning how to control units and not spam the 'all units' key!

For all you Beginners and Veterans: Enjoy!

Analysis

Here's the super detailed build order first, then the analysis:

0:00 Drone (13/14)

0:15 Overlord (13/14)

0:18 Drone (14/14)

0:25 Extractor (13/14)

0:25 Drone (14/14)

0:32 Drone (15/22)

0:36 Drone (16/22)

0:46 Drone (17/22)

0:50-0:52 Start moving out one Drone for a Hatch

1:00-1:02 Hatch (16/22)

1:04 Drone (17/22)

1:12 Drone (18/22)

1:15-ish move 3 Drone into Extractor

1:22 Spawning Pool (17/22)

1:24 Drone (18/22)

1:30 Drone (19/22)

1:40 Overlord (19/22)

1:50 Overlord (19/22) *

2:10 Spawning Pool finishes -> instantly make Metabolic Boost

2:11 Queen at first base

2:12-2:14 3x Zerglings (24/44)

2:25 2x Zerlings (26/44)

2:30 Baneling Nest

At this point you are ready to roll. You can go ahead and make a Queen now or later on. But don't forget to keep pumping out those Zerglings.Keep them close to their base, but not in a viewable range. Take care for those Overlords they might spot you.

As soon as the Baneling Nest finishes make about 5-6 Banelings instantly against Zerg Players, and 8-9 or even 10 for Protoss and Terran Players. You could make less but this makes it easier for you.

Let the Banelings go first and burst through the Terran/Protoss Blockade then follow and clean up with your Zerglings. If your Zerglings get wiped out fear not more are coming! Make sure to surround enemy units to clear them off faster! Now you can go for the juicy free kill mineral line workers :3 yum yum

At this point unless they made a massive amount of army units, which the most players do not do, it's a guaranteed GG for you.

* Pros and Cons.*

+With this method you can easily wipe out the enemy quick and secure a win.

+Simple build

+If it fails you still have enough time to transition to Droning and go for Lair/Hydra or build a Roach Warren in the meantime

+If fail you still have an army to keep the Drones safe

+Economy will be nearly equal to the enemy's if you execute it right after failing

+Works good on noobs (Silver-mid Plat)

+If your enemy goes for a third base it'll be a super easy win

+short games (on average 5-7minutes. with transitioning 12-15)

-Hellions will rape you unless you have impeccable Micro

-If they scout your units, they will most likely make a massive amount of army units

-Some terran players will counter you with Cyclones and if you don't have muchg army left until they reach your side you lose.

-does not work vs GM-Players

-Canon rushes are a bitch

-If they made a proxy Hatch near you and you did not scout it's gg (beginner tip)

-You might blindly pass Adepts while moving across the map and they will destroy your drones if you are not careful (beginner tip)

This build does have an 80-90% win ratio. Sometimes you'll even win 15 times in a row. Always have a Plan B in mind. Your first Overlord should scout what the enemy is doing. Choose wisely if you want to execute this build or rather stick to the one you are comfortable with. If you think somethings fishy about the enemy's tactic go for a different approach. don't get to cocky with stuff like this. Know your limits and when to transition.

Additional Notes

Vs. Zerg: Make sure if they scout that they don't see your entire army. Always focus their queens and potential Spine Crawlers first with your Zerglings first. Send Banelings to their Zerglings and Mineral Lines. Keep an eye out not to waste your Banelings. Make sure they don't rush your base if something goes wrong. Make a Spine crawler or 2 if the plan fails and consider making a nice amount of Zerglings before droning.

Vs. Terran: Keep your Zerglings away until you have enough banelings to go into their base. Make sure no reaper will see your army. If possible kill him with 4 Zerglings and a Queen to make sure he doesn't snipe away your Drones while you are attacking. Hide Banelings and lure Hellions out of the base before attacking. Again if you think he'll making cyclones transition earlier. If the first Baneling attack does not work and your Zerglings cannot get into the Main and wipe out their army. immediately transition to Hydras or Roaches.

Vs. Protoss: Pretty much the easiest out of these matchups. Be careful to attack the adept blocking your way into their base and not the structure beside it. If you see he made a ton of units behind his blockade, don't try to contest because he will most likely survive and counterattack. one Void Ray can ruin your entire plan. Make sure you only need one Baneling opening. Transition to Hydras if needed. Make sure to scout a lonely Probe try to canon rush you. keep good vision with your Overlords don't waste them in your base.

One last note for this buld: MAKE CONTROL GROUPS DO NOT MOVE ALL UNITS AT ONCE! should be obvious but hey y'never know who's reading this. Focus army first, then Mineral Line.

*Depending on how you play you could make another Overlord if you want to. It saves you time and the chance being supply blocked later. (recommended for beginners) However if you know what you are doing just make another drone at this point or save the larva for later.

I'm a Diamond Player not a pro... don't hate too much before trying it out. Works fine vs. Diamond and Plat players. Way too good for bronze-gold unless there is a smurf behind that screen. GMs and a fine amount Masters will know what to do vs you.
