Description

If you don't want to skip your first Queen, this is the fastest Adrenal Glands timing you can play in SC2. With this build, the upgrade is finished at the 7min mark with +2/+2 coming up around 20-30 seconds after it.

I recommend you to play this build around 5-10 times before you start trying this against a real player. The reason for that are the very crisp timings of the build as well as the amount of scouting you'll need to do, to not just instantly die to any kind of pre 6min timing attack.

Note: Adrenal Glands got highly buffed in LoTV compared to WoL/HotS! Adrenal Glands

You can make this work against other races, but its originally meant to be a ZvP build.

Have Fun! :)

Analysis

  • You should use the 4 early Zerglings for scouting.

  • Make sure you have as much mapcontrol and scouting as possible, to be able to deal with incoming attacks.

  • The large amount of Zerglings you get should be used for harassing your opponents bases nonstop! You can also make use of Pneumatized Carapace and drop your enemy's main base from time to time.

  • In the second +3|+3 finishes, each and every one of your Zerglings is dealing a crazy amount of ~24 DPS!!

I hope you have as much fun with this build as i do ;)

Liked this build before playing it. It seems too awesome, will report the results late.

Just to update this, I've been using this quite often in all matchups. a few alterations have to be made sometimes depending on the map and race, but if you can hold off any harass and pull this build off it's incredibly difficult to stop perma stimmed lings with 3/3.

I'm running this build (high plat / low diamond) pretty much every ladder game. It's really flexible and I can transition into super-effective ultras early if going well, or plop a spire if I need air support. Either way, if you have a ling / roach ball with 3/3 before 10 mins, you're gonna wreck 'em.
