Description
How to scout it?
- Delayed robo (3:00) after twilight (2:25), then x3 gates
- Fast Mocore
- Only 1-2 gateway units until the DT warp-in
Defending Archon-drop
- 2 extra queens
- Pull back overlords
- A few lings to counter the 3rd so they can’t get a fast 3rd whilst archon dropping
- Important to keep them honest
- 10 roaches
- Don’t chase it too far, and always anticipate them being “annoying” and abusing high/lowground
- Remember that when it gets out of control it’s usually because you weren’t target firing queens on the prism or moving queens into position fast enough.
- All protoss players know the sinking feeling when a zerg is really on point with those queens always ready on the edges to start shooting the prism down before the archons even drop
- 6:00 - no 3rd? = mass units off 3-4 gas. Preferably scout even earlier with overseers to check what the followup is
- Unless you see the prism go all the way home always leave a squad of 6 roaches in your main/base furthest from your army

- 4:00 2 extra queens
- 4:30 spores in natural + 3rd base
- 3:50 Roach warren
- 10 roaches
- MAX 10 drones on 3rd
- Drones and overlords while defending
