An easy to execute and strong 2 base Roach Ravager Timing Attack with +1 Missile and Roach Speed. Easier to execute than a 3 Base build of the same style, and no need to scout if your opponent is doing a 2 base all-in or not.
Here's a more simplified version of the build in comparison to showing every unit and drone as it does below:
Why is there no SALT encoding or Overwolf build?
13 | | ||
17 | | Send drone at 180~200 minerals so you arrive when you have 300
18 | | ||
18 | | ||
19 | | Stop droning | |
| @Pool: 2 Queens + 2 Set Lings + Metabolic Boost + take 2 drones off gas (resume droning) | ||
31 | | ||
31 | | ||
36 | | ||
40 | | Optional, if you do a scout of your opponent's base and suicide an overlord to do so you'll need to replace it
44 | | ||
| 3:30 Roach Warren | ||
| @2Base Saturation: Back on gas in main, 3 additional gases, 3rd base | ||
| @100Gas: Lair + Evolution Chamber | ||
| @Evolution Chamber: +1 Missile Attack | ||
| @Lair: Glial Reconstitution (Roach Speed) | ||
| Mass Roaches | ||
| Attack when +1 Missile and Roach Speed are done |
While attacking you should at times have more gas than minerals, use this excess gas to morph in Ravagers.
This build goes to 2 Base saturation and has the 3rd as a macro hatch to help spend resources. With this build you don't need knowledge of whether opponent is doing a 2 base all-in or taking a 3rd, if they are macroing you should be able to outright win the game and if they are attacking you are blindly making units in preparation. For this reason this build is quite safe for a bronze or silver player. If you are gold or higher I would suggest going with a 3 base build such as Solar's +1 +1 Roach Ravager style.

Send your 4 lings to scout any sort of cheese of your opponent. If so: REACT to it -> eventually build more lings queens or roaches if needed
If you can defend properly and do not loose too many drones you are still able to pull off a strong +1 Roach Speed push!

To help, it's alright to make a blind spine crawler around 3:15 vs Terran and Protoss. This will finish by 3:45 which is in time for a 1 base all-in. In ZvZ in this build instead of pulling off of gas at 100, I would keep on gas and 2nd 100 gas goes to a baneling nest and 2 safety banelings asap. If you get hammered with a bunch of zerglings, 2 banelings can deal with that, and if you saw the attack coming you'll also have zerglings of your own making. Morph more banes as needed.
If you have trouble with Hellion timings in ZvT, it is alright to make ~4 roaches when the Roach Warren finishes, but not many more.

Generally you don't plan defense into a build, defense is a reaction to what your opponent is doing. If you blindly (without scouting) make a bunch of units and your opponent doesn't attack, your economy will be behind where it could be (those larvae spent on units could have been drones).
If you hit the correct benchmarks with this build, bronze and silver player's will not have enough units to stop your attack 9 times out of 10.
When you make your first set of Zerglings, try to have 1 zergling on hold position in front of the enemies base. If your opponent moves out and attacks your zergling will die and you will know an attack is coming. Up to this point if you have used all of your larvae on drones, you will have a superior economy to your opponent and can immediately switch to pure unit production. By the time your opponent crosses the map you will have enough to hold the 1 base attack off.
