This build will put you ahead of standard terran openers as long as you take only minimal damage in the early game. There are a few timings to be aware of. 1. 2:00-2:30 Proxy reaper or marines: I scout for proxies with the first 2 drones that would go to the natural. It doesn't cost too much, and prevents the overlord from dying. 2. ~4:00 1 base timing: Scout their natural with lings. If their natural hasn't landed by 2:50, it's either 1 base or ninja expansion. 4. ~5:20 2 base timing (marines or hellbats + bc): By scouting the main with the first overlord and the natural with lings, you should be able to determine if it's a 2 base or 3 base build. You'll need to start units around 4:40 vs 2 base. 5. ~6:15 2 port BC: If they haven't landed a 3rd base by 5:40 and haven't attacked you, it could be double BC.
The goal of this build is to max out by 9:00 and move out with roach/ravager/ling/bane + 3 vipers.
