A lot of Terrans are not ready for a drop at 4:45, usually they are the ones dropping. It's also not fully all-in as you take a third behind it. It's a build that I saw Prince do against Maru once and fell in love with back then. Now it's here (with some tiny differences) for my own convenience since my memory sucks.
Also, please keep in mind that the replay example is pretty meh when it comes to execution.
|19||1:15|| ||Pause Probes at 20|
|36||3:23|| ||Pause Probes at ~35. and leave only 1 Probe in each gas in the main.|
|38||3:34|| ||Use the observer to look for a good place for the drop|
|38||3:48|| ||After the Prism you can get up to 8 Gates|
|40||4:17|| ||The Stalkers can stay at home to defend aggression|
|46||4:48|| ||Three Pylons should be enough since you expect to lose units.|
|46||4:56|| ||Across the map, Resume Probe production if you haven't already|
After the build is done keep warping in Zealots across the map for as long as you see fit. You may be able to win the game there, if not you can resume gas mining and freely go into blink and Robo Bay and play a normal macro game from there.
You might have issues with early aggression, especially drops so that sucks. You can leave the Stalkers home if you're scared of that but remember that your drop hits at around the same time so the units your opponent has on the other side of the map are also not defending his own base. The number of Gateways you want also kind of varies, you can get 5 and get the third (as well as resume probes) faster but you can also get 8 and not have to worry about increasing that number later.
The big thing is pausing the Probes at 35 (as in 35 Probes, not 35 supply) to get the Gateways, Pylons and the Third.
