Build Order

Why is there no SALT encoding or Overwolf build?

0:18  Supply Depot  Bulid SCVs as usual.
0:29  Refinery  Send 3 workaholics on completion.
    0:46  Barracks
0:54  Refinery  3 workers as well.
1:33  Orbital Command, Reaper  For the mules and Shao Kahn.
    1:37  Factory
1:39  Action  Pull 2 workers from one refinery and one more SCV from another refinery. Send 'em to the minerals.
    1:48  Supply Depot
2:06  Action  Keep your first reapurrr at home.
2:07  Reaper  You can return 1 SCV back to gas (optional).
2:21  Hellion  Once the main base gets fully saturated, add 3 more workers, then wait for the 2nd CC to finish.
2:30  Command Center  And here you start returning SCVs, so now it's 2-3 on one refinery and 2 on the other one, just fill your mineral line with 16 SCVs and once it gets full, send all the extra SCVs to refineries.
2:40  Action  Keep building reapers and hellions until this manual tells you to stop.
2:41  Action  Protoss may send an adept for a friendly check - smash it to pieces with your 2 reapers and a hellion. Microing your reapers for a bit results into losing 0 units.
2:43  Action  Marc says that you gotta accumulate 5 units (3 reapers + 2 hellions) and start adding some pressure on weak alien shoulders.
2:46  Supply Depot  After getting five units in the previous step STOP making reapers and hellions.
2:57  Starport  If there is a shield battery on the opponent's natural just don't fight their units and go for a runby instead.
    3:05  Factory Tech Lab
    3:13  Barracks Reactor
    3:23  Siege Tank
3:32  Barracks x2  Adding 2 rax. Don't overproduce your SCVs cause it will delay the rax and that's the last thing in the world you want to happen (check the next step).
3:33  Starport Tech Lab  On this timing Marc had like 25 workers active. 22 to fill the main base, one builing the 2nd CC, and two more building the 2 rax from the previous step.
3:38  Action  Time to blow things up and kill a stalker. Even 2 reapers and 2 hellions will have enough firepower to easily frag one Nerazim mechanoid. Reatreat on kill.
3:42  SCV  Start making SCVs production great again.
    3:49  Orbital Command
3:50  Action x2  Start pumping up marines!
3:56  Siege Tank  Keep building tanks!
    4:04  Banshee
    4:18  Supply Depot
4:19  Marine x2  Make 2 marines from the recently finished barracks (no addons or cloack mode required).
    4:30  Siege Tank
    4:37  Supply Depot
    4:50  Banshee
4:58  Supply Depot  As you can see, we're expanding our supply limit in advance, so that we don't accidentally overcap while fighting protoss.
5:02  Action x2  Roughly by this timing you should have your third siege tank finished. This is the signal for an attack - the moment we've been waiting for!, Don't forget to pull the SCVs from your natural to accompany your troops. Thermy had 4 SCVs to pull. Keep making tanks, marines, and banshees.
5:38  Action  Your army is knocking on the opponent's door. Rally all your production on the front line and keep killing protoss units. Your dps is sufficient enough to even ignore overcharged batteries.
5:39  Action  See description for more details.

Analysis

The more or less thorough analysis is presented in the descriprion of the build order steps (make sure you read them carefully). That is why I'd like to explain some more details here instead. Firstly, this build order exists in two versions. Check the link for a macro-oriented version. Secondly, this version is designed to allow us produce sufficient amount of units and send them for a massive attack. This means that we're not aiming for a shiny economy or superior upgrades. Your task is not bulding SCVs but optimizing your expenditures in order to get a bigger army supply. Thirdly, when playing on a map with large reaper cliffs, you can simply send your 3 reapers to the main base and 2 hellions to the natural. This ensures you some decent probe frags since our opponent has only 1-3 stalkers and this dps is just not enough to fight our units in two different places simultaneously. Finally, let's sum things up. There are several scenarios that would normally happen by the time you attack. 1) Protoss is willing to get/already building their 3rd nexus, thus our all-in crushes their bones like crazy. 2) For some reason protoss is not buildig their 3rd yet and is getting tech in robo or stargate branches. However, both of these are ineffective vs. our attack, even if our opponent is rushing for the colossi/disruptors. Marc was playing against Astrea, who decided to go for a robotics bay and safely build a bunch of stalkers. The only thing that can delay your push here is an immortal + an overcharged battery. So Marc just retreated to wait for the overcharge to finish and then devastated the remains of protoss army, including 1 immortal (still having 4 tanks on his side). 3) Marc mentioned that you have to be careful with mass zealots + charge, cause this seems to counter our agression to some extent. I guess that in this case it's up to microing your tanks properly. Btw, Astrea even had extra batteries and an observer, that spotted whe incoming wave of Marc's units - didn't help him survive it anyway. Make sure protoss doesn't intercept your reinforcements and manage SCVs correctly to get the right timings. Hope some of you will enjoy this bulid order. GL & HF!
