The purpose of this build is to survive any early game Zerg shenanigans and possibly do some damage with Oracles in order to very quickly transition into a Carrier-based skytoss army.
Warpgate and first two gateway units are taken before placing Stargate to facilitate a safer position. This differs from the Harstem Oracle opener which prioritizes quickly getting the Oracles at the Zerg's main.
One should constantly produce Oracles to about 10 in order to defend bases with Cannon battery defense to fortify bases against aggressive timings. Static defense should be a fast priority but it should scale with the current economy; don't over make cannons at expansions until it makes sense economically to do so.
Once the Carrier fleet is stabilized and a Mothership is out with storms and Archons on the way, Oracles can be thrown away during harassment to make room for more supply.
It's important to not attack until 3-3 air weapons and shields are finished and one has a maxed-out army of Mothership/Carrier/High Templar/Archon. Only attack earlier if the Zerg is extremely weak and never over commit to attacking in creep at an early stage in the game.
This build also allows an easy switch into mass Gateway with Chargelot/Archon/HT in the case that Zerg over produces Corruptors and potentially kills your Carrier fleet. This switch can often steamroll an unsuspecting opponent.
