8 stalker Pressure Opening (No probes) - PvP (PvP Timing Attack)

Description

This is the same build order as the one made by PiG, but I adjusted it to not include probes since the spawning tool advisor program doesn't seem to have a "hide probes" option

  • This is a nice opening to apply pressure and keep your opponent honest. It allows a good chance to work on the tightness of your opening and stalker micro.
  • You should scout the map for proxies so you can either destroy the proxy or push into their main before they get anything out of the proxy.

Build

  • Standard 2-gate opening
  • 2 chronos on first 2 stalkers
  • 3rd pylon immediately after you start those stalkers (Place reinforcing the 2-gates pylon + providing lowground power for shield batteries to help defend natural if needed
  • Next chrono goes into WG
  • Build 6 stalkers continuously
  • cut probes @25/26 total
  • Drop a nexus @400 minerals, proxy pylon immediately after nexus starts
  • warp in 7th/8th stalker at proxy and go.
  • Robo + twilight
  • Resume Probing

Analysis

  • You should be constantly poking and asserting map control/dominance with stalkers as well as looking for proxies with your probe and stalkers if you're not sure what they're doing
  • It's very situational how much you should commit - take any fights that favour you and hunt down any adepts on the map your have many power points where each time another 2 stalkers arrive you potentially can take a good fight
