Hi,
Today, we'll take a look at a PvP cheese i really love, the Proxy Robo with immortal all in.
This build is really strong as you should have 1 immortal and 4 stalkers to all in your opponent's B2 and crush him quickly. This build order can be used on 4 spawns map, but also on 2 spawns (even though its stronger in 4 spawns map)
Although the BO gets crushed in the VOD and Replay, i found it interesting to show the counter.
14 | 0:20 | | Then Scoot |
15 | 0:40 | | |
17 | 0:50 | | |
17 | 0:55 | | |
19 | 1:10 | | |
20 | 1:25 | | |
22 | 1:45 | | (Proxy pylon) |
23 | 2:05 | | |
23 | 2:06 | | |
27 | 2:15 | | |
27 | 2:35 | | |
31 | 2:45 | | |
31 | 2:50 | | Check the position of your opponent |
34 | 3:15 | | |
34 | 3:20 | | |
34 | 3:45 | | |
38 | 3:50 | |
The thing i like about this Build, is the assumptions you have to take when you drop your proxy pylon (on a 4 players map):
when you scoot at 0:20, you only have to check one position: the one on the right, then, if you see your opponent at this position, just hide the probe and launch the proxy pylon at 1:45. But actually you hope that you won't find your opponent at the first position you check as he will see your probe, and can be aware that some cheese is coming.
In a better case scenario (if your adversary is not at the first position you check), and as shown on the replay, you drop the proxy pylon BETWEEN the two possible bases left where he can be (as you don't have the time to scoot any of them), and you will confirm his position later, at 2:50. The advantage of this situation is that your opponent has no information at all, and you will deny his scooting with your two first stalkers.
Of course, you assume that your enemy will have taken a fast expand (which is almost automatic in the current meta), but if he doesn't and went for a 3 gates oracle, you may be in a difficult position, so its a risk you must be aware of.
Actually in the replay and VOD, the all in should have passed, Showtime just missplayed with his first push and his stalkers positioning ^_^
GLHF ;D
