Analysis

Serral opens completely standard with Hatch Gas Pool and gets a quick 3rd at 27 supply. He then works his way up to 7 queens which is 1 for each Hatch and 4 creep/ defence queens as BC's and Hellions are very prominent amongst Terrans in the current meta. Serral goes for a late Lair in my opinion which could be that he just forgot about it but it's more likely because he was prioritising the need for Ling/ Bane against the Terran's aggression over getting tech and Bane speed although I could be wrong.

Serral almost always takes 2 extractors at the natural, saturating them and then getting 2 more at the 3rd shortly after when his 3rd has been saturated leaving the main till last.

My favourite part of Serrals play here that he has not 1 but 2 ling squads waiting to backstab the Terran when the Terran pushes out towards the 4th. These backstabs do an incredible job and he does this multiple times to both kill workers slowing down the economy, and delaying reinforcements making it easier to defend the push. He also manages to cancel the 4th base which is a big deal.

Serral never misses a beat with his upgrades and tech buildings, and despite being under constant pressure from Bio tank etc, he takes superior trades, has a big tech advantage, an economic advantage and an army advantage. As soon as Serral sees how delicate the remaining push is, he collapses upon it and the game instantly ends. gg
