One of the most common openings we’ve seen from top Protoss in recent times where they seem to be struggling. Something which puts a lot of pressure on Terran to execute their opening perfectly, scout what’s happening and defend well or fall far behind. If terran just goes on autopilot they will usually end up in a very poor position - they need to have a very strict reaction and a huge delay on something in order to defend well. As shown at the end of the video Innovation delays his factory by several minutes in order to afford turrets and defend cleanly.
From here do whatever you want - this is just an opening guide. You could very easily:
Add phoenix and glaives + blink, go for adepts/immortals/sentries and stalkers with phoenix and look to take big midgame engagements
Notes and Execution:
You can go zealot first to try and put on pressure/disrupt the bunker going up on the lowground - though this is a huge tell of what you’re going for If there’s a 2nd reaper leave 2nd adept at home Don’t forget the pylon after you start msc/adept/SG - supply blocked oracle = herpy derpy Make sure your pylons are in range of their addons If you have trouble losing your probe with the rush, bring a second probe Remember reaper pops at 2:00 normally so you can use this knowledge to often find the Shade your first adept across the map asap so they can’t get a bunker up on the lowground (usually you can stop this) If they find your SG and the reaper tries to depower it go and drop another pylon to ensure it stays powered * 4-player maps * This map can work super well on 4 player maps where your opponent might scout you very late On 4-player maps find a central area that’s equidistant to all possible enemy spawns. You will need to scout after dropping SG at the proxy, AND Send another probe from your base to find their spawn
