Standard opener, standard build. This is vs Terran bio mostly. You'll be pulling off gas and staying on one gas, defending with queen ling until 3 base saturation. Extremely important that you know how to scout, what youre looking at, and the proper response to the information gained from the scout. In some cases you may need to take an earlier gas and some cases not. Always try to ride the line of how close u can get to making army at the last possible moment. Dying because you droned too much is better then dying because you got scared and made army too early.

Analysis

16 hatch 18 gas 17 pool opener, standard stuff. You will build a 19 drone, this drone you will rally behind the third base mineral line. then a 20 overlord. Take your third with this drone at 26 (26-34 is fine) Pulling 2 off gas at 60 and not putting those two back on until 3:30. You then have a choice, your next 100 gas after ling speed, get a lair then the next 50 gas a bane nest or the next 50 gas after ling speed get a bane nesst and a lair with the following 100 gas. Personal preference. Lately I've been going bane nest first. Stay on ONE gas until your third is at 16/16!!!! You will maximize your economy this way. At three base saturation in this order all immediately:

  1. Take a fourth base
  2. Take all gasses
  3. Take a macro hatch

    Ling bane compositions are larva inefficient. So a macro hatch is almost necessary. This build can't be done without some knowledge of enemy builds. There will be times you need to stop droning early, or take gasses early. You will have to decide that by reading your scout around 330 ish. You can see in the replay, I take a slightly early infest pit, you'll be under more pressure, You can take one at 8 minutes. Always start a spire when you start a hive. Greater spire @ hive along with adrenal and 3-3.

Some good checkpoints are 50 drones by 5 minutes 60 drones by 6 minutes 70 drones by 7 minutes 80 drones by 8 minutes In some cases you'll go up to 95ish. Its not exact but it's around there for late late game expensive compositions. Your natural power spike comes at 3 base full saturation, so 3 full mineral lines and 6 gasses. At this point you can really start producing but your power spike doesn't peak until 88-95ish so do not get stuck at 66 workers. Remax up your tech tree not downwards or stagnate. Get your tier 3, your units with staying power that can close out a game. Hydra ling bane has little to no staying power, expecting to win off just that alone will prove more difficult.
